Oldman River at Livingston Gap

Oldman River at Livingston Gap by richard dixon, Oil, 24 x 30 x 3/4
  • Oil on Canvas
  • 24 x 30 x 3/4
  • In Progress

This painting shows the image from above the Oldman river where it cuts through the Gap in the Livingston range.  In the foreground of the river is seen  the Oldman Falls which will be detailed as a seperate painting. A favorite for flyfishers wanting trophy trout.  The plains below are often full of herds of elk along with ranging grizzly bears hoping for an easy meal.

The landscape is shown in its fall color aspect.
